About Drive-In Theater Finder
DriveInTheaterFinder.com lists the drive-in movie theaters still open in the United States. Each theater gets a page with the things you need before you drive out.
- Is it open this season?
- What movies are playing?
- How much are tickets?
- Do they have food?
- Can I bring my dog?
Why this exists
I drove 40 minutes to a drive-in to see a movie that was not playing
The site I checked had not been updated in months. The right showtimes were on social media the whole time, and it never occurred to me to look there.
So I sat outside the drive-in and thought about buying a ticket for the cartoon that was playing. But that was not what I came for. I drove home.
A drive-in is not run like the big theater chain down the road. The owners do most of the work themselves, and most of them are in it for love more than for money.
So they post where it is easiest, which is where their customers already are. The website comes last. I noticed that most sites haven't been updated in a while, and many of the answers aren't on them.
If you don't already know where to look, you have to do a little digging. Or, like me, you don't look at all and you find out when you get there.
That is why every page here is checked against what the theater itself puts out.
The facts
Where each page comes from
Most of it comes from the theater itself: its own site, its own posts, the rules it publishes. The rest gets checked against more than one source before it goes up.
I don't post anything that the theater hasn't mentioned themselves.
Drive-ins that have closed for good are kept off every list on this site. They are kept as a record on the closed drive-ins page.

Check with the theater before you drive out
I am not connected with any of the theaters on this site, and I do not speak for them. Prices, hours and rules change through the season, so check the theater's own website before you head over.

If you run the theater, yours goes first.
