History
The history of Bordeaux Drive-In Theater
The Bordeaux Drive-In stood on Clarksville Highway (Highway 41A) in the Bordeaux neighborhood of Nashville, on the right side as you drove from downtown toward Clarksville. It opened July 26, 1951, with Yvonne De Carlo in "Buccaneer's Girl".
By 1955 the Crescent Amusement Co. ran it, and Martin Theatres took it over later. It had one screen and room for about 450 cars. The drive-in closed and was demolished, and the sign out front outlasted every other trace of it. A Kroger grocery store now stands on the site.
