Dependable Drive-In has run on Moon Clinton Road since 1950, growing from one screen to four and now billing itself as the last remaining drive-in theater in Allegheny County. Every screen plays a double feature with high definition digital projection and Dolby Surround FM radio sound, with retro in-car speakers still in place where available.
As of 2026, gates open at 7:00 PM, admission is $10 for ages 12 and up and $5 for ages 5 to 11, and the snack bar runs a full dinner menu of burgers, made to order pizza, funnel cakes and ice cream. Cars park by pole color so everyone can see, and as of 2026 the box office closes ten minutes after the first features start, reopening at intermission.

The history of Dependable Drive-In Theater
The Dependable Drive-In opened on June 27, 1950 with Betty Grable in "When My Baby Smiles at Me." It started with a single screen; a second was added in 1995, a third in 1997 and a fourth in 2003. It ran as part of the Associated Drive-In Theatres chain in the 1950s, and by 2019 was the last operating drive-in in Allegheny County, Pennsylvania.
