The history of Garden Drive-In Theater
Opened as the Gardens Drive-In in July 1952 with room for 325 cars, named for Hunlock Gardens; became the singular Garden in February 1954. Remnants of Hurricane Lee destroyed the screen, concession stand and projection booth in September 2011. It was rebuilt, later twinned, and now holds 600 cars across two screens.
