History
The history of Ozoner 29 Twin Drive-In Theater
Built by the Wemple family, who also run the single-screen El Rancho Drive-In in Palatine Bridge, NY on the same site and phone number.
Soft-opened with one screen on August 17, 2003, showing "Spy Kids 2" and "The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen"; the second screen followed at the official grand opening in May 2004 with "Spider-Man 2." Converted to digital projection in early 2015 after what Darci Wemple described to the Leader-Herald as pulling together family money, bank loans and remortgages to avoid closing for good.
