Stars & Stripes Drive-In sits on Clovis Road on the northwest side of Lubbock and as of 2026 runs year-round, every night through the summer and school holidays and three to five nights a week in the fall and winter. Every ticket is for a double feature on one screen, and sound comes over your car radio on one of three drive-in stations.
There is a 50's Cafe with a kitchen, a patio and a playground, and outside food and drink are not allowed at the patio or cafe seating. Each car gets a 12 ft by 20 ft space, so lawn chairs go in front of your vehicle. Movies play rain or shine, and if heavy rain stops the show you get a raincheck for the double feature you were watching. Pets are welcome but must stay inside the car, and there is no re-admittance once you leave.
