History
The history of Skyway Twin Drive-In Theater
Skyway opened in 1949 as a single screen, the oldest drive-in in the Warren area and the owner of the largest screen within 50 miles. A second screen was added September 2, 2010 and enlarged in 2014.
In 2013 Skyway became the first drive-in in northeast Ohio to convert to digital projection. A June 2026 windstorm tore panels off the screen tower; it was repaired and reopened within days.
